I have heard from several through the years how they would like to meditate but don't know where to start. How to sit still, how to quiet their minds, etc. Research shows a meditation practice impacts the brain improving clarity, focus, emotional regulation and reduction of the stress hormone, cortisol. Research also reflects the impact on the physical body in areas of well being, , increased ability to sleep. improved immune function and decreased blood pressure. This practice had, and continues to have a profound impact on my personal healing journey. These skills are available to all of us.

Meditation is a practice of single pointed concentration. It's not about clearing the mind but being with the fluctuations of the mind and coming back to the point of concentration. It's a practice. The intention of sleep stories is to create an accessible environment to provide this single guided point of concentration. Finding comfort in the nostalgia, allow yourself to be guided to stillness & rest.
